We're seeking an experienced and results-driven SHEQ Manager to lead our safety, health, environment, and quality control initiatives. The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive SHEQ strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SHEQ management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and training programs to promote safety awareness.
- Monitor compliance with legal and other requirements, preparing statutory reports for submission to relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with HR, Facilities, and other departments to integrate SHEQ practices into daily operations.
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement preventative measures.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring product quality meets company standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Control, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SHEQ and quality control management, preferably in a manufacturing or tobacco industry.
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Certification in Safety Professional (CSP) or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
