Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with hardwood and melamine, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to deliver precise, high-quality finishes within set timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct, assemble, and finish custom furniture pieces (e.g., headboards, TV stands, coffee tables, wardrobes).
- Work with hardwood, melamine, and other materials to produce high-end finishes.
- Read and interpret design drawings and measurements accurately.
- Operate carpentry machines, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform installations and on-site fittings when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop area.
- Ensure quality control and attention to detail in all projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in furniture carpentry, particularly with hardwood and melamine.
- Ability to use cutting, edging, and finishing tools efficiently.
- Strong understanding of furniture joinery and modern design techniques.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.
