Job Summary
We’re a fast-scaling content startup building a must-read hub for what’s trending right now across entertainment, fashion, and celebrity culture. We’re hiring sharp, culture-obsessed writers who can spot a trend before it peaks, move fast, and file clean copy on a weekly cadence. You’ll plug into our editorial engine, ship high-signal articles, and help us set the agenda not just chase it.
Key Responsibilities
- Research assigned topics (news, features, interviews, trend roundups) and surface credible sources.
- Write clear, engaging, well-structured articles and briefs—optimized for readability and shareability.
- Pitch fresh story ideas aligned to what’s spiking on TikTok, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Fact-check rigorously; ensure accuracy, attribution, and zero plagiarism.
- Collaborate with editors/senior writers; take feedback, iterate fast, hit deadlines.

- Strong proficiency with social media platforms and microsoft word
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work.
- Excellent attention to detail, layout, and typography.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A Diploma or Degree in journalism or a related field is an added advantage (not a requirement).
- Video editing or motion design skills are an added advantage (not a requirement).
Workload & Expectations
- Minimum 3-5 publishable pieces per week (400–800 words typical) with quick turnarounds when culture spikes.
- Clean, original copy (we run plagiarism and AI-overuse checks).
- Availability for occasional virtual editorial stand-ups.
