Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

* Supervise overall company operations, including loan application, appraisal, disbursement, and collection processes;

* Develop, implement, and optimize operational policies and procedures to ensure standardization, efficiency, and compliance;

* Manage and evaluate the performance and operational quality of all branches;

* Monitor loan portfolio performance, including key indicators such as PAR (Portfolio at Risk), loan growth rate, and risk metrics;

* Promote the use of digital lending systems, mobile applications, and data-driven operational tools.

2. Team and Performance Management

* Manage, train, and motivate branch managers, credit supervisors, and loan officers;

* Set operational targets and monitor their achievement;

* Conduct regular staff performance evaluations to ensure efficiency and effective teamwork across departments.

3. Risk and Compliance

* Oversee risk management throughout the lending process to prevent fraud and minimize bad debts;

* Ensure that all operations comply with the regulations of relevant authorities (such as the Reserve Bank of Malawi or Financial Regulatory Agency);

* Collaborate closely with internal audit and compliance departments to implement KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies.

4. Customer Service and Market Support

* Enhance customer experience by ensuring timely, transparent, and accessible loan services;

* Support the rollout of new financial products and market expansion initiatives;

* Participate in community outreach, client education, and financial inclusion activities to strengthen the company’s public image.

5. Reporting and Data Analysis

* Prepare periodic operational reports, including loan performance, branch performance, client growth, and risk control updates;

* Analyze key operational data to identify issues and opportunities and propose actionable improvements;

* Provide data-driven insights and reports to senior management and the Board of Directors to support strategic decision-making.

15000ZMW or above, negotiable base on expertise and experience
