The University College is seeking to recruit a Training Manager, a Quality Assurance Officer, and Lecturers. Below is the detailed description of the job requirements.

1. Training Manager

v Valleyview University College (VVUC) is a Christian, privately owned institution of higher learning committed to academic excellence, integrity, and holistic development. The College invites applications from suitably qualified and morally upright individuals for the position of Training Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Develop and implement annual staff training and development plans.

Ø Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate professional development activities.

Ø Design and deliver training programmes, workshops, and staff induction sessions.

Ø Maintain training records and prepare quarterly and annual reports.

Ø Ensure compliance with HEA and internal quality assurance standards.

Ø Promote a culture of continuous learning anchored on Christian values.

Qualifications and Experience

Ø Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Education, Organisational Development, or related field.

Ø Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Ø Minimum of 5 years’ experience in training or staff development.

Ø Strong facilitation, communication, and organisational skills.

Ø Must be of strong Christian character.

2: Quality Assurance Officer

v Valleyview University College seeks a competent and dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to support institutional excellence and compliance with national higher education standards. The successful candidate will champion quality enhancement across the College.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Implement and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures.

Ø Conduct internal audits, programme reviews, and quality assessments.

Ø Support curriculum development and monitor academic performance indicators.

Ø Prepare documentation for accreditation and compliance with HEA, ZQA, and other regulators.

Ø Analyse institutional data and produce quality assurance reports.

Ø Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and Christian excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

Ø Bachelor’s degree in education, Quality Assurance, Social Sciences, or related discipline.

Ø Master’s degree is an advantage.

Ø Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in quality assurance in higher education.

Ø Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

Ø Must uphold strong Christian values and ethics.

2. Lecturers Positions;

The ideal persons must have the following;

1. Job Purpose

To design, develop and produce learning and teaching material, and to efficiently and effectively deliver teaching programmes to Diploma and undergraduate students in accordance with the University’s strategy, policy and procedures.

2. Responsibilities

Ø Participates in administrative duties in areas such as admissions, timetabling, examinations, and assessment of progress and student attendance.

Ø Develops the use of appropriate learning, teaching, support and assessment methods.

Ø Selects appropriate assessment instruments and criteria, and continuously assesses the work and progress of students by reference to the criteria and provides constructive feedback to students.

Ø Ensures that module design and delivery comply with quality standards and regulations of the University.

Ø Identifies areas where the curriculum is in need of revision or improvement and contributes to the planning, design and development of objectives and material.

Ø Reviews duties regularly with the Head of Department/Programme coordinator and discuss ways of improving performance.

Ø Offers counsel on projects and other academic activities; as well as promotes the well-being of students.

Ø Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Ø Ability and willingness to work as part of a team and contribute fully to the work of the department.

Ø Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for undertaking the teaching of students.

3. Qualifications & Experience

Ø Full Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent with 5 ‘O’ levels with Credit or better including English and Mathematics;

Ø Bachelor’s degree in the relevant mentioned above course or any related field from a reputable university with at least a credit or better

Ø Masters’ degree in the mentioned course will be an added advantage.

Ø Post Graduate Degree in teaching/Lecturing methodology will be an added advantage

Ø Minimum of 2 years work experience will be desirable
