We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer/Technician capable of handling a 1600 kVA industrial load, responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation of motors, VFDs, control panels, and plant electrical systems. Candidate must have solid experience in industrial electrical maintenance, automation basics, motor controls, and problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.
Mandatory Practical Skills
The plant has motors, heavy machinery, MCC panels, extruders, boiler, compressors, pumps, conveyors, dryers, etc.
Therefore, the candidate should have practical experience in:
1. Motor & Power Systems
Motor control circuits (DOL, Star–Delta, Soft starters)
VFD programming & troubleshooting
Overload & short-circuit protection
MCC & Distribution Board maintenance
2. Industrial Equipment Handling
Extruder electrical systems
Boiler control panels
Screw conveyors, pumps, blowers
High-current equipment (100–200A+)
3. Heavy Load & Safety
Knowledge of 11kV/415V distribution
Transformer operation
Generator synchronisation
Earthing, lightning protection
Load management for 1200 kVA system
Safety standards, lockout-tagout (LOTO)
4. Automation & Controls (Highly Recommended)
Basics of PLC, sensors, SCADA
Troubleshooting control circuits
Understanding relay logic
Experience Requirements
For a 1600 kVA industrial plant:
Minimum Experience:
5–10 years in an industrial environment
Preferably in:
Food processing
Oil mills
Manufacturing plants
Any continuous production facility
Preferred:
Experience with soybean processing, extruders, or oil plant machinery
