🔑 Key Responsibilities
• QA/QC: Implement quality plans, inspect water-retaining structures, underground piping, and building works; maintain logs and reports; resolve non-conformities.
• Quantity Surveying: Verify BOQs, track progress quantities, validate invoices, reconcile materials, analyze variations, and monitor budget deviations.
• Planning & Reporting: Develop and update schedules (MS Project/Primavera), track progress, prepare dashboards, analyze delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Coordination & Documentation: Liaise with engineers, contractors, and auditors; maintain registers (ITP, MIR, RFI, NCR); prepare as-built documentation and handover files.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to Zambian regulations, HSE standards, and environmental requirements; support safe execution in high-risk areas.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• 7–12 years’ experience in QA/QC, QS, and planning.
• Mandatory experience in WWTP/WTP/utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of RCC structures, underground pipe networks, WWTP process units, and civil buildings.
• Advantage: prior work in Zambia/Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera
