We are looking for a highlymotivated Field Loan Officer to join our growing microfinance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for client acquisition, loan assessments, collections, and portfolio quality management. This is a field-based role that requires strong sales drive, integrity, and excellent customer engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospect, recruit, and onboard new clients.
- Conduct field assessments, business analyses, and credit evaluations.
- Prepare complete and accurate loan application files for approval.
- Manage repayments, follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain a healthy PAR.
- Conduct client visits, monitoring, and relationship management.
- Achieve monthly sales, disbursement, and portfolio targets.
- Market company products and represent the company professionally in the field.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Banking, Finance, or related field (advantageous).
- Experience in microfinance, sales, or fieldwork is a strong advantage.
- Ability to meet sales targets and handle field pressure.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Must be comfortable working in high-density communities and market areas.
- Ability to ride a motorbike is an added advantage.
