JOB PURPOSE
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for strengthening the organization’s local digital presence, driving fan base growth, and optimizing digital marketing performance through content, data, and paid media strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement content marketing strategies to increase online visibility and engagement.
- Operate and monitor social media traffic metrics to track growth and performance.
- Optimize paid advertisement placement across digital platforms for maximum reach and ROI.
- Plan and support the execution of digital and offline marketing campaigns.
- Manage and grow social media platforms and online communities.
- Drive fan base growth and engagement using data-driven growth hacking techniques.
- Analyse digital performance data and continuously improve marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with organizational objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong content creation and digital storytelling skills.
- Social media operations and community management experience.
- Proficiency in AI tools for content creation, analytics, and automation.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Graphic design skills using Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Video editing skills for digital platforms.
- Proven ability to build, grow, and engage online fan bases.
- Creativity, innovation, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content marketing, social media management, or digital growth roles.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ proven experience in content marketing, social media management, or digital growth roles.
- Experience managing paid digital advertising will be an added advantage.
