This position is responsible for managing the relationship with Clients as well as day-to-day management
of the Supplier and Sales Department. The position reports to the Business Head. Key responsibilities
include:
- Contact the Client when receiving a potential lead from the dealer network.
- Explain offerings and recommend products to meet the needs of the Client.
- Ensure applications, KYC and Financials are collected in a timely manner.
- Follow up daily with Clients for outstanding documents.
- Identify and assesses new market opportunities for asset finance within the Supplier.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Clients and Suppliers with a view to gaining access to new
Clients that are currently not AFCL Clients.
- Discuss the general outline of any required asset finance such as the lending terms proposed
(including pricing) with credit for Clients
- Weekly and monthly reporting of deals work in progress, as well as portfolio performance.
- Drive the asset processing process; from document collection through to obtaining signatures from
relevant stakeholders.
- Inform the Client on the result for the credit application. Approvals on facilities must be communicated
through to the Client immediately. If the deal has been declined, renegotiate the deal with the Client.
- Take all required documentation to the contract through to the Client for signature.
- Provide support to all Clients, ensuring a high quality of after sales care and support to all new and
existing AFCL Clients.
- Check in with Client on EW signals raised in the EW Dashboard and obtain clarity on the same from the client.
JOB DESCRIPTION – COLLECTIONS EXECUTIVE
Job Purpose: This position is responsible for interacting with existing and new customers,
negotiating outstanding payments, ensure that customer accounts are
monitored to a high standard on a continuous basis and manage all customer
account queries. The person will need to be target driven, motivated, and
demonstrate negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities: Develops overall corporate policies regarding collections of
overdue/delinquent accounts.
Ensures all collections policies are followed.
Contact customers by phone to negotiate and discuss payment
strategies
Ensure compliance and customer focused collections
Ensuring that accurate records are recorded and maintained in the
relevant systems
Identifying and understanding customer’s history and current
circumstances and evaluating appropriate payment proposals.
Maximizing collection and collating high quality dispute information.
Ability to work a large volume of accounts
Achieve and surpass weekly and monthly collection targets
Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as designated by Team
Leader
