Breath of Heaven Children’s Ministries (BOHCM) is a registered NGO committed to transforming lives through holistic care, education, and skills development for orphans and vulnerable children in Zambia. Located in Barlastone Park, Lusaka, the Ministry operates a Children’s Village, a primary and secondary school, a medical clinic, a community church, and is near completion of a Vocational Training College (VTC) aimed at delivering quality post-secondary technical education to our children and the surrounding community.
We are inviting applications from qualified and committed Part-Time Lecturer in Bricklaying and Plastering to support the delivery of practical, competency-based training at our VTC Students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Bricklaying and Plastering in line with the approved vocational syllabus
- Plan and deliver engaging theory and hands-on practical lessons
- Assess, record, and report on students’ academic and practical progress
- Ensure safe use of workshops, tools, and materials
- Instill good workmanship, safety standards, and work ethics
- Participate in departmental and institutional academic activities as required
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Craft Certificate in Bricklaying and Plastering or higher qualification
- Valid teaching qualification or proof of pedagogical training
- Registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
- Strong practical skills and ability to demonstrate trade competencies
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a committed and practicing Christian
Added Advantage
- Previous teaching or industry experience
- Experience handling practical vocational training sessions
