Position: Field Assistant
Location: Livingstone, Zambia
Nature of Position: Agricultural Field Operations & Data Collection
Reporting Line: Field Specialists / Operations Manager
Contract Type & Duration:
This is a contract-based role with an initial three (3) month probationary period, with the
possibility of extension or longer-term engagement subject to performance and project
requirements.
Working Conditions:
This role involves extensive outdoor fieldwork, including travel to remote farming locations
and working under varying weather conditions.

Job Summary:
Mati Carbon is seeking a motivated Field Assistant to support agricultural field operations
and data collection activities in Livingstone, Zambia.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Assist in deployment and monitoring of natural soil supplements
• Engage with farmers and support project registration
• Collect soil samples for laboratory analysis
• Maintain accurate field records and documentation
• Support reporting and field logistics
• Perform additional field-related duties as required
Eligibility Criteria:
• Graduate Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (Agriculture related)
• 1 year field experience (fresh graduates with field exposure may apply)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Livingstone, Zambia
Essential Requirements:
- Valid motorbike license
- Android smartphone with good camera quality
- Basic Computer Knowledge
