Business Development Manager (BDM)

Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable financial growth by forging strong relationships with clients and developing new business opportunities across Zambia. You will be the face of the company, identifying market trends and converting leads into long-term commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify and reach out to new prospective clients and sectors within the Zambian market.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with stakeholders, corporate partners, and government entities where applicable.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a 12-month business development roadmap aligned with company revenue targets.
- Sales Pipeline: Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and cold calling to negotiation and closing.
- Competitor Intelligence: Monitor local market shifts, pricing trends, and competitor activity to ensure our value proposition remains leading-edge.
- Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to senior management regarding the sales funnel and market feedback.
