Muky Pharmacy Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Cashier.
Key Responsibilities
Receive payments from customers through cash, mobile money, debit/credit cards, and other approved payment platforms.
Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
Ensure proper handling and accountability of cash and other payments.
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with general inquiries.
Coordinate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
Support administrative and basic stock-related tasks when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
Grade 12 School Certificate with credits in Mathematics and English.
Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
Experience working as a cashier in a retail environment will be an added advantage.
Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Honest, reliable, and able to handle financial transactions responsibly.
