About the Role We are looking for a skilled Painter and Decorator to deliver high-quality interior and exterior finishes across our construction projects. You will work on residential and commercial builds, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by filling, sanding, and priming before application
- Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and coatings to walls, ceilings, and fixtures
- Execute interior and exterior decorative finishes to client specifications
- Ensure clean, precise results with minimal wastage
- Work to project timelines and report progress to the site supervisor
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in painting and decorating
- Experience with both interior and exterior applications
- Knowledge of different surface preparation techniques and paint types
- Keen eye for detail and clean finishing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
