We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to oversee infrastructure development and manage government and regulatory processes, ensuring smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders;
- Manage and oversee the application, follow-up, and acquisition of all required project permits, licenses, and certifications;
- Coordinate the connection of essential project utilities, including water, electricity, and gas for projects;
- Ensure full compliance with local laws, regulations, and government procedures throughout the project lifecycle
- Support project planning and execution activities;
- Act as the main point of contact between the organization and external stakeholders
- Monitor progress of approvals and escalate issues where necessary to avoid project delays
- Provide strategic support to senior management on regulatory and stakeholder matters
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments and special projects as directed by the managing Director
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to permits, approvals, and stakeholder engagements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Public Administration, or related field;
- Experience dealing with regulatory bodies and permits;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in government liaison, public relations, or external coordination
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities;
