Purpose of the role
- The Parts Controller supports assembly teams by issuing parts daily in line with project schedules and ensuring accountability for unused or returned parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort transport trucks to site and coordinate offloading.
- Verify incoming parts against packing lists, delivery notes, and job BOMs.
- Inspect for damages, shortages, and defects, record findings electronically with supporting photos.
- Classify and record parts per individual machine, including serial numbers.
- Maintain digital records of all received parts, including quantities, part numbers, and variance details.
- Share daily receiving/variance reports with site administrator, support manager, and project leadership.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit ready.
- Issue parts to assembly teams based on daily schedule and assembly progress.
- Track all issued parts and ensure unused parts are returned and reconciled.
- Update inventory records to reflect actual usage.

Experience and qualifications
- Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in stores/parts control, receiving, warehousing, assembly support, or logistics.
- Valid driver's License
- Warehouse/Stores Management background.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational discipline.
