Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager based in Lusaka Province, Zambia. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading and mentoring the sales team, and achieving sales targets. Daily responsibilities include building customer relationships, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with other departments to optimize business outcomes. The role requires a proactive approach in identifying business opportunities and maintaining strong brand presence in the market.
Qualifications
- Sales and negotiation skills with experience in setting and achieving sales targets.
- Leadership and team management skills to effectively guide and motivate a sales team.
- Market analysis and strategic planning capabilities to identify trends and competitive opportunities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales forecasting software.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry or relevant sector is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years in the motor industry
