JOB TITLE: SUPPLY & LOGISTICS MANAGER – MIL 2

The goal is to manage the entire supply circle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Develop and manage a supply plan for the business unit, including road, rail and air transportation, to develop least cost supply chain strategies, short and medium term.
2. Review sources of supply and service provider contractual terms in order to develop alternatives if required.
3. Develop the plan to ensure cost path for material management
4. Utilize freight and product storage contracts, key customer and supplier records of performance and sales/supply information.
5. Proactively manage the delivery / receivables schedule to meet sales and purchase contractual terms.
6. Set guidelines to ensure that goods, materials of services purchased are of the quality specified.
7. Undertake major contract negotiations within the approved pricing policy and establish service programs.
8. Budget responsibility for the department.
9. Proactively work with the logistics team for agreed timing of service.
10. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
11. Resolve any arising programs or complaints
12. Supervise, coach and train your workforce.
13. Meet cost, productivity, and accuracy and timeliness targets.
14. Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
15. Comply with laws, regulations and other obligations.
16. Always submit a report for your monthly activities for your remuneration to the General Manager.
