Property Manager – Lusaka (Part-Time / Contract)
I am seeking a highly reliable and resourceful Property Manager based in Lusaka to oversee the maintenance and day-to-day management of 5 residential properties.
This role is ideal for someone who is well-connected, proactive, and able to independently coordinate repairs, maintenance, and service providers to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee general property maintenance and ensure properties are kept in excellent condition
• Coordinate and supervise repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
• Source, vet, and manage reliable and cost-effective workmen and contractors
• Obtain and negotiate quotes for maintenance work
• Conduct routine property inspections and identify issues early
• Ensure timely completion of all repair and maintenance work
• Liaise with tenants to resolve maintenance issues promptly
• Provide regular updates and reports to the property owner
Requirements
• Based in Lusaka with strong local knowledge
• Proven experience in property management or facilities coordination
• Established network of trusted workmen and service providers
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Desirable
• Experience managing multiple properties
• Basic understanding of property maintenance costs and budgeting
• Ability to handle urgent issues quickly and efficiently
