We are looking for a motivated and reliable Laboratory Assistantto support laboratory operations at our new concrete plant in Lusaka. The successful candidate will assist in sampling, testing, and preparing materials to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting and preparing raw material samples for testing
- Support laboratory technicians in conducting tests on concrete and related materials
- Prepare test blocks and assist in curing and monitoring processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory
- Record test data accurately and report findings to supervisors
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and equipment
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate, preferably with Science subjects
- Degree or Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in Cement plant operations
- Prior experience in a laboratory or construction environment is desirable
- Basic knowledge of concrete or material testing is an advantage
