We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our concrete batching plant in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electromechanical systems to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in plant machinery
- Maintain and service electromechanical systems in the batching plant
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
- Proven experience in electromechanical maintenance, preferably in a mixing or concrete batching plant
- Knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and machinery maintenance
- Basic welding skills will be an added advantage
- Experience in weak current systems and electrical troubleshooting is desirable
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills
