JOB TITLE - Sector Mapping Enumerators
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to support an upcoming Sector Mapping Exercise. This activity involves collecting geographic and community-level data to support planning and decision-making.
Position: Sector Mapping Enumerator
Location: CCS Remote Project Areas
Duration: Short-term assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field visits to map and verify sector boundaries
- Collect GPS coordinates and key geographic points
- Record sector information, including names and structure
- Engage with local leaders (e.g., headmen) to gather relevant data
- Capture basic demographic estimates (households and population)
- Take photos and document important landmarks
- Ensure accurate and complete data collection using designated tools
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of field data collection
- Familiarity with GPS devices or mobile data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Collect is an added advantage)
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with community members
- Ability to work in the field under minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred:
- Grade 12 certificate holder or better
- Background in GIS, Geography, or related field.
