We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Community Engagement Officer to build, strengthen, and manage relationships between the organization and its community. The ideal candidate will drive impactful engagement initiatives, enhance brand trust, and ensure meaningful participation across all stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders
- Organize and oversee community events, outreach programs, and campaigns
- Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and the public
- Gather community feedback and provide insights to improve services and programs
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, CSR) to ensure consistent messaging
- Manage social impact initiatives and community development projects
- Monitor and report on engagement performance and outcomes
- Handle community concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Work, or related field
- 5–8 years of proven experience in community engagement, public relations, or stakeholder management
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience in organizing events and managing community programs
- Strategic thinking with the ability to execute effectively
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
