Valley View University College is seeking to recruit a Psychosocial Counselling Lecturer and Tutor
The successful candidate will champion quality enhancement across the College and is expected to do the following;
1. Prepare and deliver lectures on topics like clinical, cognitive, or developmental psychology, and manage seminars or lab sessions.
2. Design syllabi, create instructional resources, and update curricula to reflect new advancements.
3. Deliver engaging lessons on psychology topics, such as cognitive processes and developmental psychology.
4. Plan and deliver imaginative and interactive schemes of learning, updating materials to match current psychological research.
5. Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and laboratory work, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
6. Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Qualifications and Experience
Ø Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology (Recent graduate)
Ø Must Have a Full Grade Twelve Certificate
Ø Must be computer literate
Ø Strong Interpersonal skills
Ø Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
Ø Result and goal-oriented
Ø Strong facilitation, communication, and organisational skills.
Ø Must be of strong Christian character.
