About the Role
MarcTina Consultancy is seeking a highly driven, relationship-oriented, and ambitious professional to support the growth of our private sector portfolio. We are looking for a proactive go-getter who is confident engaging businesses, building strategic relationships, identifying opportunities, and contributing to business growth.
This role is ideal for a young professional with a background in business, finance, management, or a related field who is passionate about enterprise development, client engagement, and strategic growth. The successful candidate will also support basic business advisory services for MSMEs and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the private sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Support lead generation, client follow-ups, and partnership engagement activities.
- Participate in meetings, networking events, and stakeholder engagements to strengthen the company’s visibility and market presence.
- Assist in developing service proposals, capability statements, and client presentations.
- Support client onboarding processes and maintain professional communication with clients.
Proposal Development
- Assist in identifying and researching funding and business opportunities from clients, donors, and strategic partners.
- Support the development of bid proposals, concept notes, pitch decks, and tailored service packages.
- Assist in preparing supporting documents including budgets, timelines, and work plans.
Project Support
- Coordinate and support implementation of assigned projects and consultancy assignments.
- Assist in planning workshops, meetings, training sessions, and client-facing activities.
- Track project progress, follow up on deliverables, and support reporting processes.
Business Advisory Support
- Provide junior-level support in areas such as:
- Business finance and budgeting
- Business process mapping
- SME growth support
- Basic operations and strategy support
- Assist with research and preparation of advisory materials for clients.
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct research on market trends, SME development, funding opportunities, and sector developments.
- Prepare briefs, summaries, and research reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify emerging opportunities in the market.
Administrative & CRM Support
- Maintain organised records of proposals, contracts, reports, and communication logs.
- Support scheduling, logistics coordination, and internal communication.
- Update CRM systems and track client engagement activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong research, writing, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of business operations and private sector engagement.
- Experience in proposal writing, sales, client engagement, or business development is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools.
