Location: LUSAKA/MPIKA
Employment Type: Contract
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a leading international construction company, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Driver under the TAZARA Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport project personnel, visitors, and materials to designated locations.
- Operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Report accidents, breakdowns, and vehicle defects promptly.
- Assist with logistical and administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Ensure the security and proper handling of company property and equipment during transportation.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B or higher).
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven driving experience, preferably on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to flexible working schedules.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, disciplined, and of high integrity.
- Experience working on railway, road, or large-scale construction projects.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
