JOB DESCRIPTION – TAILOR
Position: Tailor
Department: Operations
Reports To: Supervisor/Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Take accurate measurements and prepare garment patterns.
- Cut, sew, alter, and repair garments, uniforms, and other fabric items.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines and tailoring equipment.
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards and specifications.
- Carry out tailoring assignments at company sites and remote project locations when required.
- Maintain proper care and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Keep accurate records of completed work.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate in Tailoring, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4–5 years proven work experience as a Tailor.
- Ability to use industrial and domestic sewing machines.
- Good attention to detail and workmanship.
- Willingness and ability to work at remote project sites and travel when required.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION – PAINTER
Position: Painter
Department: Operations
Reports To: Supervisor/Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling defects.
- Apply paint, varnish, and protective coatings to buildings, structures, and equipment.
- Mix paints and finishes to achieve the required colour and texture.
- Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
- Perform painting works at company premises and remote project sites as assigned.
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
- Observe all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Complete assigned projects within specified deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate in Painting, Decorating, or a related trade.
- Minimum of 4–5 years proven work experience as a Painter.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to work in remote locations and travel when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
