We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative – Veterinary Products to join our team. This is a mid-entry level position suited to candidates with relevant qualifications and some industry experience who are looking to build a career in veterinary and animal health sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell veterinary medicines, vaccines, feed additives, and other animal health products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, veterinary practitioners, agro-dealers, and other customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Provide technical product information and support to customers.
- Achieve sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Participate in product demonstrations, field visits, and promotional activities.
- Ensure timely collection of customer payments where applicable.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Animal Health, Livestock Production, or a related field.
- Should be a paid up member of the Veterinary Association of Zambia
- 2 years of relevant experience in veterinary sales, animal health, veterinary practice, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of livestock production and animal health products.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
