- Eye Refraction
- All functions related to clinical works of an Ophthalmic Optometrist
- Examine eyes, using observation, instruments to determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or color blindness.
- Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids
- Educate and counsel patients on eyecare, contact lens care, visual hygiene, lighting arrangements and safety factors
- Consult with and refer patients to ophthalmologist or other health care practitioner if additional medical treatment is determined necessary
- Assist Customer select the appropriate Optical Frame and Lenses best fit for correcting their visual need and within their budget.
- Dispense Spectacles to customers and educate them on how to handle the eyewear.
- Assist in selling eyewear, sunglases, accessories to csutomers.
- Making follow-up to ensure customers’ orders are ready and dispensing the ready glasses to the customer with explanation on how to take care of them.
- Achieve established sales and customers service goals and objectives
- Perform small repairs and adjustments to the frames if required
- Handle customers questions and concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow all company procedures in registering, recording eye test results, creating sale orders, cash handling and other common practices.
- Share store maintenance and cleaning of the displayed products and store areas to ensure Store is well organized and kept clean.
- Assist co-workers as needed including data entry in computer, making follow up with head office or customers etc. as and when required.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain good working relations with customers, coworkers and vendors.
