Coflex Zambia is a growing beverage import and distribution company supplying premium wines and an expanding range of beverages to hotels, lodges, restaurants, retailers and hospitality businesses across Zambia.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and hands-on Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to become one of the Company’s first operational team members. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse and distribution operations, including:
- Receiving supplier deliveries and verifying quantities against delivery documentation.
- Inspecting incoming stock for quality and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- Organising and maintaining the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Managing inventory levels and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Conducting regular cycle counts and scheduled stock takes.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately and on time.
- Coordinating daily deliveries and ensuring orders are dispatched correctly.
- Delivering orders to customers when required.
- Supervising future warehouse and delivery staff as the business grows.
- Monitoring breakages, returns and damaged stock.
- Ensuring warehouse cleanliness, organisation and compliance with safety procedures.
- Assisting with inventory planning and replenishment.
- Maintaining accurate warehouse and delivery documentation.
- Working closely with management to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, FMCG distribution or a similar operational environment.
- Proven experience with inventory management and stock control.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- High level of honesty, integrity and accountability.
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Excel and inventory systems experience will be an advantage).
- Valid Zambian driver’s licence.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physically fit and willing to assist with loading, unloading and warehouse activities when required.
