Job Profile
The Social Media Coordinator and Graphic Designer is responsible for managing NetOne select group entities' social media presence and producing creative visual content across digital and print platforms. The role involves planning and scheduling content, monitoring and growing social media channels, and creating designs and artwork that reflect the brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
- Monitor NetOne social media pages daily to identify inconsistencies, issues, or opportunities for engagement.
- Plan, create, and schedule content across all platforms in line with the marketing calendar.
- Write engaging captions and source or create accompanying graphics and visuals for each post.
- Track engagement, follower growth, and other key metrics, and report on performance periodically.
- Keep up to date with social media trends and platform best practice to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Compile and manage monthly newsletters, gathering relevant news and updates.
2. Graphic Design
- Develop visual concepts that bring the brand to life, working within established brand guidelines.
- Design artwork for websites, social media, marketing collateral, and other materials.
- Produce creative assets to support marketing campaigns, events, and corporate communications.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with the respective entity visual identity and prepare files appropriately for both print and digital use.
- Maintain an organized archive of design files, templates, and brand assets.
3. Agency Liaison
- Serve as the primary point of contact between NetOne and any external agencies.
- Coordinate briefs, timelines, and approvals with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns and content are delivered on time and aligned with the entity marketing objectives.
- Liaise with business leadership to ensure marketing and creative output supports broader organizational objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, PR or Communications related fields, or additional certifications in Graphic Design or Digital Marketing.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Canva.
- Certification in social media marketing (e.g. Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, Google Digital Garage) is an added advantage.
- 2–3 years’ experience in social media management and/or graphic design.
