Right to Care Zambia seeks to establish a comprehensive roster of outstanding consultants and subject matter experts. This roster will enable RTCZ to draw on specialized technical skills for proposal development, program design, and the provision of key personnel for various projects. The aim is to ensure access to the best and most current expertise in public health and NGO leadership, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality, innovative health solutions.
Scope of Work
Consultants included in the RTCZ roster will be engaged on an as-needed basis to:
- Provide technical expertise in proposal writing and program design.
- Serve as key personnel for project implementation.
- Offer advisory and capacity-building services in their respective fields.
- Contribute to the development, review, and quality assurance of technical documents, strategies, and operational plans.
- Support the organization in responding to new funding opportunities and public health challenges at short notice.

- Public Health Disciplines:
- HIV/AIDS, TB, and non-communicable diseases (NCDs)
- Maternal, child, and adolescent health
- Behavioural and social sciences

- Technical and Programmatic Skills:
- Clinicians (medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists)
- Researchers and implementation scientists
- Health economists and policy analysts
- Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) specialists
- Health information systems and digital health experts
- Graphics design and communications professionals
- Proposal and scientific writers
- NGO Leadership and Management:
- Program and project managers
- Supply chain and logistics experts
- Finance, audit, and risk management professionals
- Human resources and organizational development specialists
- Information, education, and communication (IEC) experts
- Public relations and advocacy specialists
- Technology and Innovation:
- Information technologists (ICT, AI, IoT, machine learning, data science)
- Laboratory and pharmacy technicians
- Legal and health rights experts
- Other Essential Skill Sets:
- Data analysts and statisticians
- GIS specialists
- Quality improvement specialists
- Any other relevant field contributing to public health and NGO excellence
Registration and Vetting Process
- All consultants will undergo a rigorous vetting process, including credential verification, reference checks, and assessment of relevant experience.
- Successful applicants will be required to register with Right to Care Zambia in a manner like suppliers of goods and services.
- Contracts will be reviewed periodically to ensure the roster comprises only the most outstanding and dynamic professionals, in line with evolving sector standards and needs.
- Consultants will be entered into a secure database and may be called upon to provide services to RTCZ as and when required, including at short notice.
