Position Overview:
This role is critical for scaling MCI’s impact by securing significant, multi-year funding from international donors and forging strategic partnerships with the private sector, academia, and global NGOs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a resource mobilization strategy targeting foundations, bilateral/multilateral donors, and corporate social investment funds.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with technology providers, mining corporations, and jewelry brands committed to ethical sourcing from ASM.
- Oversee the development of high-value funding proposals and complex grant applications.
- Design and manage a partnership portfolio that enhances MCI’s technical capacity and global reach.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, or related field.
- Proven track record of securing and managing grants exceeding $5 million from international donors (e.g., USAID, Global Affairs Canada, EU, major foundations).
- Strong understanding of partnership management and experience working with corporate entities on shared-value initiatives.
