Position Overview:

This role will leverage technology to create scalable solutions for ASM formalization, traceability, and access to markets, positioning MCI at the forefront of innovation in the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and rollout of digital tools for the ASM sector, such as blockchain-based traceability systems, digital cadastre access platforms, and mobile data collection apps.
Partner with tech companies and "FinTech" organizations to develop digital solutions for ASM access to finance and markets.
Oversee the management and analysis of MCI’s ASM data to identify trends and insights.
Secure funding and partnerships for digital innovation projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field and more than 8+ experience
Proven experience in designing and implementing technology-for-development (Tech4Dev) projects, ideally in the Global South.
Knowledge of blockchain, GIS, mobile technology, and data analytics applications in development contexts.
