Inspect components for cracks and surface imperfections
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts
Align components that are out of alignment such as axles
Interpret designs and fabricate components
Use various methods to weld pieces together
Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
Adhere to all HSEQ and work procedures
Take part in hazard identification in your work environment

REQUIRED

Education:

Grade 12/Craft Certificate in a Metal Fabrication skill

Knowledge/Experience:

3-5 years’ work experience

Membership of a recognized professional body – local or International

Skills/Attributes:

Excellent communication skill

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent Interpersonal Skill

Customer Service Skill

Awareness of all industry health and safety protocols

Team player
