Position: Pesticide Sales Supervisor
Requirements:
Education: College degree or above, with priority given to majors in agriculture, plant protection, horticulture, agricultural technology, and related fields. male
Physical condition: Physically healthy, able to adapt to frequent business trips, tolerant of work environments such as fields and planting bases.
Work experience: Must have at least 5 years of sales experience in the pesticide/agricultural inputs industry, including 1 year or more in sales team management, regional sales supervisor, or equivalent positions.
Resource requirements: The Zambian market has a certain amount of mature agricultural resource channels (distributors, wholesalers, large-scale growers, agricultural cooperatives, etc.), familiar with regional market layout.
Master the basic principles of pesticides, product classification (insecticides/fungicides/herbicides, etc.), applicable crops, usage methods, and safety precautions, and be able to provide technical support to customers.
Familiarize oneself with relevant laws and regulations such as the Pesticide Management Regulations and the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Law, ensure compliance in sales and promotion processes, and eliminate illegal promotion and sales of banned and restricted pesticides.
Understand the dynamics of agricultural policies, regional agricultural subsidy policies, and trends in the agricultural inputs market.
Daily work:
(1) Sales goals and team management
Develop regional sales plans, decompose sales targets to team members, and ensure the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, collection rates, and other objectives.
Responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and daily management of the sales team, developing assessment and incentive mechanisms, and enhancing the team's sales ability and execution capability.
Regularly hold team meetings to review performance, analyze problems, share experiences, and adjust sales strategies and work directions in a timely manner.
(2) Channel development and maintenance
Expand the sales channels for agricultural inputs in the region, develop high-quality customers such as distributors and large-scale growers, and improve the layout of the channel network.
Regularly visit core customers to understand their pain points, resolve channel conflicts, price objections, and improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Develop a repayment plan, follow up on debt collection, ensure that the repayment rate meets the standard, and reduce the risk of bad debts.
(3) Market operation and strategy implementation
Conduct regional market research, analyze planting structure, occurrence patterns of pests and diseases, and competitive dynamics, and form a market analysis report.
Develop regional sales strategies (product mix, pricing, promotions, etc.) and organize teams to implement them.
Plan and carry out field demonstrations, technical lectures, and other promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and product recognition.
(4) Compliance Sales and Technical Support
Strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations, ensure compliance in sales, promotion, and advertising processes, and eliminate any violations.
Provide customers with professional technical support such as product selection, usage guidance, and consultation on pest and disease control.
Collect market feedback (product performance, customer suggestions, competitor dynamics) and promptly report to relevant departments of the company.
(5) Daily management and collaborative work
Control regional sales expenses, develop budgets and allocate resources reasonably to ensure compliant and efficient use of expenses.
Submit sales reports, market analysis reports, etc. on time, and cooperate with the company to complete data statistics and analysis.
Collaborate with administrative and logistics departments to resolve customer complaints, logistics and delivery issues, and ensure smooth sales operations.
