Job Title: IT Hardware & Software Corporate Sales Executive
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable IT Hardware & Software Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and promoting a range of IT products and solutions. This role requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities for IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, networking devices, peripherals, etc.) and software solutions (security, productivity, cloud services, licenses).
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, demos, and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
- Provide ongoing support, follow-up, and account management.
- Understand customer pain points and recommend suitable hardware and software solutions.
Technical & Product Expertise
- Stay updated on the latest IT products, technologies, and industry developments.
- Work with technical teams to ensure accurate solution design and implementation.
- Assist customers in selecting the proper hardware and software based on requirements.
Sales Administration
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and process sales orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience in IT sales (hardware and/or software).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware (PCs, servers, networking equipment, etc.) and major software products (Microsoft, Adobe, security suites, cloud solutions).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-driven, customer-focused, and highly motivated.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with major IT vendors (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Microsoft, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, or vendor-specific sales certifications are a plus.
