JOB ADVERTISEMENT: GRAIN LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
A reputable grain processing and storage company is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Grain Laboratory Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct quality analysis of grains (moisture content, foreign matter, damaged grains, aflatoxin, etc.)
· Perform routine laboratory tests in accordance with industry standards
· Record, analyze, and report test results accurately
· Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
· Adhere to safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures
· Support quality assurance and compliance activities
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
· Diploma or Degree in Laboratory Technology, Food Science, Agriculture, or a related field
· At least 5–10 years’ experience in a grain laboratory or related environment
· Knowledge of grain quality standards and testing methods
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
· Computer literacy will be an added advantage
