Role Overview:
The Security Solutions Product Manager is responsible for leading the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of security-focused products and solutions. This role requires expertise in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and regulatory compliance, combined with the ability to translate complex security needs into viable products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for security solutions, aligned with organizational objectives.
- Stay abreast of cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory requirements to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with security engineers, IT teams, and external vendors to develop robust and innovative security solutions.
- Create detailed product requirements, use cases, and specifications to guide development.
- Evaluate product performance, adoption, and impact, recommending enhancements based on analytics and feedback.
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring security solutions meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on security solutions, providing guidance to sales, marketing, and technical teams.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand security challenges and tailor solutions accordingly.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in product management within cybersecurity or IT security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR), and risk management.
- Proven track record in delivering security products and managing their lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
