Role Overview:
The Software Solutions Product Manager is responsible for defining, developing, and managing software products that meet market needs and drive business growth. This role combines strategic vision, technical understanding, and stakeholder management to ensure successful delivery and adoption of software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for software solutions.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Monitor product performance through KPIs, user metrics, and adoption rates, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing maintenance.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally and externally, ensuring products meet business and user needs.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on product features and functionality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in software solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple products and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
