Job Summary: Under the immediate supervision of the School Management, Special Needs Primary Teachers support the academic, social, communication, and life-skills development of learners with diverse learning needs. They provide a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment adapted to individual abilities, learning plans, and developmental goals. Teachers work closely with parents/guardians and relevant specialists to ensure continuity of support across school and home. They observe, assess, and document learner progress, summarising achievements and areas of growth, with a focus on maximising independence, learning confidence, and preparing learners for a successful transition to the next phase of education.
Minimum Requirements:
ü Must be 25 years old and above
ü Must be a Christian with at least 3 years’ testimony of Christian faith
ü Grade certificate with a credit or better in English
ü Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Special Needs Education as a major with any other course.
ü Registered with the Teaching Council, having a valid practising license.
ü At least three years of teaching experience with special needs children.
ü Demonstrate success in working as a member of a team.
ü Demonstrate an ability to work successfully with community-based agencies and build partnerships.
ü Demonstrated supervision skills
