Job Description: Sales Executive – NetOne IT
Role summary:
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries via walk-ins, phone, and email, ensuring a professional and timely service experience.
- Support the Sales Team in obtaining competitive quotations from suppliers, distributors, and OEMs for key business accounts.
- Assist in preparing and submitting tenders and bids for IT supplies, ensuring compliance with company and client procurement requirements.
- Liaise with the Service Delivery function to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and meet customer specifications.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate invoicing and support follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Utilize the CRM system to generate quotes, monitor opportunities, and maintain consistent follow-up with customers and suppliers.
- Conduct proactive outreach, including cold calls, to understand customer IT environments and anticipate future requirements.
- Register opportunities with OEMs to benefit from deal registration programs and supplier incentives.
- Provide daily activity reports summarizing customer interactions, quotes generated, tender submissions, and follow-up actions.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT sales, with a focus on laptops and related devices.
- Strong understanding of customer service best practices and tender/procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
