The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction activities on site to ensure that projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and timelines. The role involves supervising workers and subcontractors, coordinating site operations, monitoring quality and safety standards, and ensuring efficient use of materials and equipment. The Site Engineer will also prepare site reports, conduct inspections, and liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Education Requirements
· Grade 12 School Certificate.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional Registration
· Membership or registration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
· A valid practicing license from the Engineering Registration Board of Zambia (ERB).
Experience Requirements
· 2–3 years of practical experience in building construction or civil engineering projects for degree holders.
Additional Skills
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
· Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site supervision.
· Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or project management tools.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
