We are seeking the services on the full time employees on the following position;
A R C H I T E C T
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Planning: Architects develop building concepts and detailed plans, considering functionality, aesthetics, materials, light, space, and environmental impact. They create architectural drawings, 3D models, and specifications using software like AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM to communicate designs clearly to clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Project Management: They coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards. This includes managing multiple projects simultaneously and resolving issues that arise during construction.
Construction Oversight: Architects conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design plans, approve materials, and make necessary modifications to address site conditions or client requests.
Regulatory Compliance: They ensure all designs adhere to building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards, preparing permit applications and securing approvals before construction begins.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Strong design and visualization skills to create functional and visually appealing structures.
- ·Proficiency in technical drawing and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, engineers, and construction teams.
- Problem solving and project management abilities to handle complex construction challenges and multiple projects.
- Attention to detail, creativity, foresight, and leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- A professional Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensure to practice architecture, typically requiring passing the Architect Registration Examination (ARE),.
- Relevant experience through internships or work in architectural firms is highly beneficial.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects to demonstrate design capability and creativity.
