The Business Development Executive plays a critical role in this mission by driving B2B cash sales growth and expanding strategic commercial opportunities in Zambia. The jobholder will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, building strong client and partner relationships, and supporting export growth, all while working cross-functionally to deliver sustainable revenue, market expansion, and long-term value for the business.
Minimum skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in business development, sales management, or key account management
- Proven ability to win new business and achieve or exceed revenue targets
- Strong commercial acumen and a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and partnering with senior leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation, tact, and diplomacy skills
- Strong analytical and reporting ability
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing contracts
- Ability to deliver client-focused solutions
