Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, results driven Retail Sales and Operations Executive to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in providing outstanding customer service while effectively overseeing in-store operations, inventory management, sales reporting, and online customer support. This position is vital for generating revenue, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across both physical and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
• Greet and assist customers in-store, providing product information, recommendations, and excellent service to drive sales and meet daily/weekly targets.
• Process sales transactions with precision, and manage payments, returns, and exchanges effectively.
• Establish and sustain robust customer relationships to foster repeat business and loyalty.
Stock & Inventory Management
• Monitor inventory levels diligently, perform regular stock counts, and ensure replenishment occurs promptly to prevent stock-outs or excess inventory.
• Receive, inspect, and shelve new merchandise while upholding store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
• Monitor inventory movements and report any discrepancies, damages, or losses.
Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, stock reports, and performance metrics.
• Identify sales trends, top-performing products, and areas for improvement; provide actionable insights to management.
• Support decision-making with accurate data on stock turnover, slow-moving items, and customer preferences.
Online Client Support
• Respond promptly and professionally to online enquiries via email, WhatsApp, social media, and other digital channels.
• Process online orders, coordinate deliveries or collections, and ensure a consistent brand experience across channels.
• Update online product listings and assist with basic e-commerce operations.
General Operations
• Assist in opening and closing the store according to procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of store presentation and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in promotions, seasonal displays, and marketing activities as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and Grade 12 certificate.
• Candidates should possess a minimum of one to three years of experience in retail sales, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling online customer support or e-commerce is a strong advantage.
