JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT
DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES
REPORTS TO: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Job Purpose:
To provide administrative and operational support in the day-to-day running of the Human Resources Department, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in maintaining and updating employee records and personnel files.
· Support recruitment activities such as posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and preparing onboarding documents.
· Assist in processing employee leave applications and maintaining leave records.
· Support in preparation of HR reports, memos, and correspondence.
· Help in organizing staff training, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
· Assist in monitoring attendance, punctuality, and other HR-related compliance matters.
· Provide general administrative support to the HR Department.
· Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR or administrative role (an added advantage).
· Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
· Knowledge of HR procedures and Zambian labour laws is desirable.

· Computer literate (MS Office applications).
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
