The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational objectives. The role oversees recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, learning and development, and HR operations to ensure a productive, engaged, and compliant workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Management
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with business goals
- Advise management on HR best practices, workforce planning, and organizational development
- Lead change management and culture development initiatives
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
- Develop talent acquisition strategies and succession planning
- Manage onboarding, performance appraisal, and employee retention programs
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies
Performance & Development
- Implement performance management systems and KPIs
- Identify training needs and oversee learning & development programs
- Support leadership development and coaching initiatives
Compensation & Compliance
- Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies
- Coordinate HR audits and manage employee records
HR Operations & Reporting
- Manage HR budgets and resources
- Maintain HRIS and accurate employee data
- Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree or professional certification (CHRP, CIPD, SHRM) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 7–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Proven leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Experience with HR systems and payroll management
