We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to ensure the smooth functioning of our office. This role is vital in supporting our team through managing communications, coordinating schedules, and handling essential administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, resourceful, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries appropriately.
- Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange staff appointments.
- Prepare and edit documents, including reports, presentations, and memos.
- Maintain both digital and physical filing systems for efficient record-keeping.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Assist in travel arrangements and event coordination.
- Provide general support to team members and handle ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Valid driver's license.
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
